What does Towcester Family Law Practice do?
Towcester Family Law Practice was set up in 2008 and is a specialist legal practice offering advice and representation in issues surrounding family breakdown. We offer legal aid for those who qualify and deal with issues such as
Domestic abuse
Divorce
Separation of cohabitees
How much time the children spend with each parent
Care proceedings
Grandparents seeing grandchildren
Financial settlement and division of assets
Pre-nuptial settlements
Co-habitation agreements
Every family is unique, every breakdown is different and the solution should be the best for your family. That solution is what we aim to help you find.
What we don’t do is Wills & Probate
Who are we at Towcester Family Law Practice?
Heather Rose is the Principal solicitor. Alina Schofield is a Legal Executive. Alison Awenat is secretary and Helen Stockwin is personal assistant to Heather & Alina. Any one of us may answer the ‘phone if you ring.
Heather Rose is Solicitor and a Collaboratively trained lawyer. It is another way of working which is proving popular as it avoids court fees, long waiting times and fraught appearances in court.
Heather deals with all aspects of family law except care proceedings, which are dealt with by Alina Schofield, a Legal Executive.

Please tell us a little about yourself that you are happy to share with our Members and visitors. This could include:
I’m a practicing Christian and a member of Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship.
I knit jumpers, socks, scarves, blankets (it’s an excuse to binge watch TV!)
My favourite place is West Penwith (right down the bottom end of Cornwall, just before you fall off the end!)
My favourite time of year is Christmas; I bake the cake to my Grandma’s recipe, in her mother’s tin, which must be over 120 years old and make my own marzipan and icing.
What do you most enjoy about business networking?
Heather loves meeting people and learning what makes them tick.
